[FFVII] - An IndictionA personification of inanimate objects was rather bizarre, but the flowers that day hung their heads in something akin to shame. The breeze that swept through the break in the church rustled them, and they responded weakly. Previously had a violent storm spread its wings over the city of Midgar, quenching the thirst of a little patch of wildlife.[FFVII] - An Indiction by Aantirrhinum
At first, emerald optics had gazed out a window, filled to the brim with worry – storms were rough, but the wrath was unyielding in strikes of lightning and sheets of precipitation. Aerith had expressed her concern to Elmyra, but the flames of her worry were slowly doused with a reassurance of words.
Now, the sky was a canvas of smudged greys and whites. The birth of a new day was both refreshing, yet troubling.
The gentle leaves of the flowers caressed her calves, paper resting on a pad for support, right hand occupied by a pen that tapped ever so thoughtfully against the top of the page. Her mind was a whirl of thoughts, a mix of emoti
First and LastThe air that blew through the Sector Seven slums was thick with smog, hot and filled with the stench of rotting garbage. The weather reports had said that it was about to rain up on the Plate right now, but that didn't matter; none of the rainwater ever reached the slums except what drained down from the sewer lines above, and by then it was too filthy to do anyone any good.First and Last by ZanaZira
As the clouds continued to gather above the steel surface of the Plate on which Midgar sat, a young girl in a long pink dress slowly made her way down the overcrowded streets, twisting a curl of reddish-brown hair around her finger as she went. She was careful to keep out of the artificial light as much as she could while she strode down the empty alleyways on the way to the outskirts of town; she wasn't technically supposed to be here right now, so it was best that as few people as possible spotted her. When she finally reached the ancient church that sat on its own near the edge of Sector Seven, Aerith breathed a
Together At Last (Part 2)~ "Are you jealous?" ~Together At Last (Part 2) by WishingDreamer5
Zack tried to resist facepalming...and failed miserably. How could he not react like that when Cloud was the most stupid and slow person that he'd ever had the pleasure to know? He obviously had no idea what he was doing. By the looks of it, Zack should speak of a miracle if the blond let Tifa know how much he loved her by the end of this decade. He felt so bad for the poor woman. Seriously, the patience that she had with that man. It was admirable to say the least. If Zack had been in her place, he would've kicked the chocobo somewhere where it would hurt.
"I just can't believe this! You know what, I'm gonna go pay him a nice visit and tell him exactly what's bothering me."
Aerith quickly grabbed his arm, so he wouldn't go anywhere. "Relax, Zack. Cloud knows what he's doing," she assured him. "He's been planning this for quite some time now. I mean, proposing to her on Valentine's Day... That has to be the most romantic thing

~ "Am I…still dreaming?" ~
The Lifestream was eerily quiet at this time of the day. Actually, there was always only silence that surrounded him and that was the most unnerving part. By now, Zack Fair was used to all the green swirling slowly around him, even if it was like a dagger piercing his heart. After all, it was the same shade of green as her brilliant eyes.
Aerith... Oh, how he longed to see her angelic face one more time. Did she even know that he had sacrificed himself in such a way? Perhaps the brunette thought that he had died years ago, since he'd never responded to any of her letters. Or maybe she was still waiting for him, thinking that he would come back to her one day. He didn't know which of the two was worse. Poor woman. She was the biggest sacrifice he'd made and she had no idea.
The raven-haired ex-SOLDIER let out a deep sigh. He was lying in
